The Protein C Tag is a 12-amino acid peptide epitope containing the sequence, EDQVDPRLIDGK. It is derived from the vitamin K-dependent serine protease, Protein-C. It is engineered onto fusion proteins for detection or purification. Antibodies to the Protein C epitope may serve as a useful tool in the immunological analyses of Protein C-conjugated proteins.
