Anti-CCNB3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cyclin B3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1395 amino acid residues and a mass of 157.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to have testis-specific expression. A member of the Cyclin protein family, CCNB3 is known to be involved with cell division. Post-translational modifications have been described, including ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include G2/mitotic-specific cyclin-B3. CCNB3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of Ccnb3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
