Anti-TIEG1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TIEG1 is a known alias name of the protein KLF transcription factor 10, encoded by the KLF10 gene in humans. This 480-amino acid residue protein is known to be a transcriptional repressor which binds to the consensus sequence 5'-GGTGTG-3'. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for TIEG1 include EGR-alpha, EGRA, and TIEG.
