Anti-Ubiquilin 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene UBQLN2 in humans. The gene may also be known as ALS15, CHAP1, DSK2, HRIHFB2157, Nedd4 binding protein 4, and protein linking IAP with cytoskeleton 2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 65.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
