Anti-CFAP36 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cilia and flagella associated protein 36. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 342 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in several human tissues including brain, testis, heart, lung, pancreas and spleen. A member of the CFAP36 protein family, cfap36 is believed to act as an effector for ARL3. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain containing 104 and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 104. CFAP36 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some cfap36 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
