Anti-LMNTD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein lamin tail domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 388 amino acid residues and a mass of 43.4 kDa. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Intermediate filament protein family, LMNTD1 is known to be involved with cell proliferation. The LMNTD1 marker can be used to identify Eccentric Medium Spiny Neurons and Brain Splatter Neurons.* Synonyms for this target antigen include intermediate filament tail domain containing 1, intermediate filament tail domain-containing protein 1, and lamin tail domain-containing protein 1. LMNTD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the LMNTD1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
