Anti-TCAF2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TRPM8 channel associated factor 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 919 amino acid residues and a mass of 100.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the TCAF protein family, TCAF2 is known to be involved with the regulation of cell migration. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 115, member C, family with sequence similarity 139, member A, protein FAM115C, and TRP channel-associated factor 2. TCAF2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some TCAF2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
