Anti-NMD3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NMD3 ribosome export adaptor. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 503 amino acid residues and a mass of 57.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. A member of the NMD3 protein family, NMD3 is known to act as a adapter for the XPO1/CRM1-mediated export of the 60S ribosomal subunit. Synonyms for this target antigen include 60S ribosomal export protein NMD3, NMD3 homolog, hNMD3, and CGI-07. NMD3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some NMD3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
