Anti-PRK1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PRK1 is a known alias name of the protein protein kinase N1, encoded by the PKN1 gene in humans. This 942-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and chromatin organization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
