Anti-FRMPD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein FERM and PDZ domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1578 amino acid residues and a mass of 173.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include FERM and PDZ domain-containing protein 1, FERM domain-containing protein 2, and FRMD2. FRMPD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some FRMPD1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
