Anti-HtrA serine peptidase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene HTRA1 in humans. The gene may also be known as HTRA, ARMD7, CADASIL2, CARASIL, serine protease HTRA1, and IGFBP5-protease. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 51.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
