Anti-DNAH14 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dynein axonemal heavy chain 14. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 3507 amino acid residues and a mass of 399.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Dynein heavy chain protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include ciliary dynein heavy chain 14, dynein heavy chain 14, axonemal, dynein, axonemal, heavy polypeptide 14, and axonemal beta dynein heavy chain 14. DNAH14 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for the DNAH14 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
