Anti-Wolframin ER transmembrane glycoprotein antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene WFS1 in humans. The gene may also be known as WFS, Wolframin, CTRCT41, WFRS, WFSL, and Wolfram syndrome 1 (wolframin). Structurally, the protein is reported to be 100.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
