Anti-THAP4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein THAP domain containing 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 577 amino acid residues and a mass of 62.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Nitrobindin protein family, THAP4 is known to be involved with metabolic processes. Synonyms for this target antigen include Nb(III), PP238, peroxynitrite isomerase THAP4, THAP domain-containing protein 4, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and CGI-36. THAP4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the THAP4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
