Anti-Centromere protein I antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CENPI in humans. The gene may also be known as CENP-I, FSHPRH1, LRPR1, FSH primary response 1, and follicle-stimulating hormone primary response protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 86.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
