Anti-ZNF821 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger protein 821. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 412 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and fallopian tube. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF821 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. ZNF821 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ZNF821 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
