Anti-STK15 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The STK15 antigen is another term for the human protein aurora kinase A, encoded by the AURKA gene. The protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cell division, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 403 residues and a mass of 45.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is reported to be highly expressed in the testis and weakly in skeletal muscle, thymus and spleen. The STK15 protein is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Other alias names for STK15 include AIK, ARK1, and AURA.
