Anti-WDR79 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target WDR79 is a known alias name of the protein WD repeat containing antisense to TP53, encoded by the WRAP53 gene in humans. This 548-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a RNA chaperone that plays a key role in telomere maintenance and RNA localization to Cajal bodies. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in all tissues and cell lines examined. Other synonyms for WDR79 include DKCB3 and TCAB1. Indicated applications for WDR79 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
