Anti-CD158f antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD158f is a known alias name of the protein killer cell immunoglobulin like receptor, two Ig domains and long cytoplasmic tail 5A, encoded by the KIR2DL5A gene in humans. This 375-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor on natural killer (NK) cells for HLA-C alleles. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications.
