Anti-WDR17 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein WD repeat domain 17. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1322 amino acid residues and a mass of 147.7 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, thyroid gland, and adrenal gland. Synonyms for this target antigen include WD repeat-containing protein 17 and epididymis secretory sperm binding protein. WDR17 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for WDR17 antibodies.
