Anti-ZNF189 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger protein 189. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 626 amino acid residues and a mass of 73 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF189 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. ZNF189 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some ZNF189 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
