Anti-Corticotropin releasing hormone receptor 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CRHR2 in humans. The gene may also be known as CRF2, CRFR2, CRF-RB, HM-CRF, corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 2, and CRF2 receptor, beta isoform. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 47.7 kilodaltons in mass. The CRHR2 marker can be used to identify Amygdala Excitatory Neurons.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
