There are over 270 anti-APOC3 antibodies from over 30 different suppliers shown below. Choose from either monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies for a variety of applications, such as Western blot, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, IHC and immunofluorescence.
In humans, this target is encoded by the gene, apolipoprotein C3 (APOC3). Orthologs for APOC3 have also been reported in other species, including mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken.
The canonical APOC3 protein is 99 amino acids in length, 10.9 kDa in mass, and has a secreted subcellular localization. It is a member of the Apolipoprotein C3 protein family. APOC3 functions in enzyme regulator activity and cholesterol binding, as well as having a role in metabolism, small molecule transport, and sensory perception. Tissue-specific expression of APOC3 has been observed in several tissues, including liver. Post-translational modifications have been described, notably glycosylation.
Synonyms for this protein include: APOCIII; Apo-C3; ApoC-3; apolipoprotein C-III.
