Anti-KIF25 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein kinesin family member 25. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 384 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Kinesin protein family, KIF25 is known to be involved with autophagy pathways. Synonyms for this target antigen include kinesin-like protein KIF25, kinesin-like 3, kinesin-like protein 3, and KNSL3. KIF25 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the KIF25 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
