Anti-Delta like non-canonical Notch ligand 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DLK1 in humans. The gene may also be known as pG2, PREF1, Zolpidem, DLK, protein delta homolog 1, and DLK-1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 41.3 kilodaltons in mass. The DLK1 marker can be used to identify Hypothalamus Splatter Neurons.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
