Anti-MAAI antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MAAI is a known alias name of the protein glutathione S-transferase zeta 1, encoded by the GSTZ1 gene in humans. This 216-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the liver followed by kidney, skeletal muscle and brain. Other synonyms for MAAI include GSTZ1-1 and MAAID. Indicated applications for MAAI antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
