Anti-VN1R4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein vomeronasal 1 receptor 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 301 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, VN1R4 is believed to be a type of pheromone receptor. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include CTD-2245F17.9, G-protein coupled receptor GPCR27, V1R-like 4, V1r-like receptor 4, hGPCR27, and vomeronasal type-1 receptor 4. Western Blot is the most common application for the VN1R4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
