Anti-RPL26L1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribosomal protein L26 like 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 145 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.3 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Universal ribosomal protein uL24 protein family, RPL26L1 is known to be involved with protein translation. Synonyms for this target antigen include 60S ribosomal protein L26-like 1, large ribosomal subunit protein uL24-like 1, ribosomal protein L26 homolog, ribosomal protein L26 pseudogene 1, and RPL26P1. RPL26L1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some RPL26L1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
