Anti-Caspase 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CASP2 in humans. The Caspase 2 protein has an expected mass of 50.7 kDa, but there are 3 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as ICH1, NEDD2, CASP-2, NEDD-2, and caspase 2 apoptosis-related cysteine peptidase. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
