Anti-WDR46 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein WD repeat domain 46. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 610 amino acid residues and a mass of 68.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. WDR46 is reported to be a scaffold component of the nucleolar structure. Synonyms for this target antigen include C6orf11, FP221, UTP7, WD repeat-containing protein 46, WD repeat-containing protein BING4, and BING4. WDR46 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some WDR46 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
