Anti-SPATA5L1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SPATA5L1 is a known alias name of the protein AFG2 AAA ATPase homolog B, encoded by the AFG2B gene in humans. This 753-amino acid residue protein is reported to be an aTP-dependent chaperone, which plays an essential role in the cytoplasmic maturation steps of pre-60S ribosomal particles by promoting the release of shuttling protein RSL24D1/RLP24 from the pre-ribosomal particles. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in both neurons and glia during embryonic and adult stages of brain development. Western Blot is the most common application for the SPATA5L1 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
