Anti-CAPS2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein calcyphosine 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 557 amino acid residues and a mass of 63.8 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is found to be highly expressed in many tissues. Synonyms for this target antigen include calcyphosin-2 and calcyphosphine 2. CAPS2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is the most common application for the CAPS2 antibodies listed below. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
