Anti-Achaete-scute family bHLH transcription factor 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ASCL4 in humans. The gene may also be known as HASH4, bHLHa44, achaete-scute homolog 4, and ASH-4. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 19.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
