Anti-CSRP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cysteine and glycine rich protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 193 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. CSRP1 is suspected to be play a role in neuronal development. Synonyms for this target antigen include CRP1, CSRP, CYRP, D1S181E, HEL-141, HEL-S-286, LIM-domain protein, and CRP. CSRP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CSRP1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
