Anti-PRTFDC1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein phosphoribosyl transferase domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 225 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.7 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate, testis, and adrenal gland. A member of the Purine/pyrimidine phosphoribosyltransferase protein family, PRTFDC1 is known to have low, barely detectable phosphoribosyltransferase activity (in vitro). Synonyms for this target antigen include phosphoribosyltransferase domain-containing protein 1. PRTFDC1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PRTFDC1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
