Anti-TNF receptor associated factor 6 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TRAF6 in humans. The gene may also be known as MGC:3310, RNF85, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRAF6, and RING finger protein 85. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 59.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
