Anti-Entactin antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Entactin antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NID1 gene, which encodes nidogen 1. This protein is known to function in the Wnt signaling pathway and cell matrix adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of Entactin has a canonical amino acid length of 1247 residues and a protein mass of 136.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include NID and enactin. Indicated applications for Entactin antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
