Anti-NME4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NME/NM23 nucleoside diphosphate kinase 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 187 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the NDK protein family, NME4 is known to play a major role in the synthesis of nucleoside triphosphates other than ATP. Synonyms for this target antigen include NM23H4, nm23-H4, nucleoside diphosphate kinase, mitochondrial, NDK, NDP kinase D, and NDPK-D. NME4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chicken species. A number of NME4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
