Anti-AP3D1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein adaptor related protein complex 3 subunit delta 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1153 amino acid residues and a mass of 130.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, golgi, and cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 5 different isoforms for this protein. A member of a the Adaptor complexes large subunit protein family, AP3D1 is known to be a part of the AP-3 complex, an adaptor-related complex which is not clathrin-associated. Synonyms for this target antigen include HPS10, hBLVR, AP-3 complex subunit delta-1, AP-3 complex delta subunit, partial CDS, adapter-related protein complex 3 subunit delta-1, and ADTD.
