Anti-CRP1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CRP1 antigen is another term for the human protein CCAAT enhancer binding protein epsilon, encoded by the CEBPE gene. The protein is known to function in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and granulocyte differentiation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 281 residues and a mass of 30.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is expressed in the bone marrow and testis. The CRP1 protein is a member of the BZIP protein family.
