The gene may also be known as FGFN, ADHR, HFTC2, HPDR2, phosphatonin, and tumor-derived hypophosphatemia inducing factor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 28 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
