Anti-PRDM15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PR/SET domain 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1507 amino acid residues and a mass of 169.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in all tissues examined. A member of the Class V-like SAM-binding methyltransferase protein superfamily, PRDM15 is known to be involved with the Wnt signaling pathway and the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include PR domain 15, PR domain containing 15, zinc finger protein 298, and PR domain zinc finger protein 15. PRDM15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These Prdm15 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
