Anti-ZAP75 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZAP75 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GP2 gene, which encodes glycoprotein 2. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of ZAP75 has a canonical amino acid length of 537 residues and a protein mass of 59.5 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in the pancreas.
