Anti-APJR antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target APJR is a known alias name of the protein apelin receptor, encoded by the APLNR gene in humans. This 380-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for apelin receptor early endogenous ligand (APELA) and apelin (APLN) hormones coupled to G proteins that inhibit adenylate cyclase activity. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be expressed in the heart, brain, kidney, stomach, spleen, thymus, lung, ovary, small intestine and colon, adipose tissues and pancreas. Other synonyms for APJR include AGTRL1 and APJ. Western Blot is the most common application for the APJR antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
