Anti-BTB domain and CNC homolog 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene BACH1 in humans. The gene may also be known as BTB and CNC homology 1, basic leucine zipper transcription factor 1, BACH-1, BTBD24, and transcription regulator protein BACH1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 82 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
