Anti-SCM1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The SCM1 antigen is another term for the human protein X-C motif chemokine ligand 1, encoded by the XCL1 gene. The protein is known to function in cell to cell signaling and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 114 residues and a mass of 12.5 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is reported to be highly expressed in spleen, lower in peripheral leukocytes and very low levels in the lung, colon and small intestine. The SCM1 protein is a member of the Intercrine gamma protein family. Other alias names for SCM1 include ATAC, ATAC, and LPTN. Western Blot is a widely used application for the SCM1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
