Anti-SLC22A10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 22 member 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 541 amino acid residues and a mass of 60.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in fetal and adult liver, and in adult kidney. A member of the Organic cation transporter (TC 2.A.1.19) protein family, SLC22A10 is known to be involved with the transport of ions. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include organic anion transporter 5 and solute carrier family 22 (organic anion/cation transporter), member 10. SLC22A10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Some SLC22A10 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
