Anti-TPRH antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TPRH antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TPH1 gene, which encodes tryptophan hydroxylase 1. This protein is known to function in fat cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of TPRH has a canonical amino acid length of 444 residues and a protein mass of 51 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. This target antigen may also be known as TRPH. Western Blot is the most common application for the TPRH antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
