Anti-NAV3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein neuron navigator 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 2385 amino acid residues and a mass of 255.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the brain. A member of the Nav/unc-53 protein family, Nav3 is reported to play a role in cell migration. Synonyms for this target antigen include pore membrane and/or filament interacting like protein 1 and unc-53 homolog 3. NAV3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Nav3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
