Anti-CAPB antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CAPB antigen is another term for the human protein capping actin protein of muscle Z-line subunit beta, encoded by the CAPZB gene. The protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 272 residues and a mass of 30.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The CAPB protein is a member of the F-actin-capping protein beta subunit protein family.
